Hans Hege - Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg (Media Authority of Berlin-Brandenburg), Germany - will talk about how this "first" in Digital TV has been achieved and of the ambitious plans to extend digital to other services in the city.
Berlin is the first place in the world where television broadcasters will switch completely to digital terrestrial television transmission, by ending all analogue transmission after this summer. Post switch over more than double the number of television services will be available.
