PayPal is making some changes to the terms relating to Buyer Protection in the User Agreement and
the Buyer Protection Program. These changes are more favorable to consumers and are
incorporated below. PayPal will apply these changes to all new customers with effect from 15 April
2025. If you are an existing customer who opened a PayPal account before 15 April 2025, PayPal
will also apply these changes to you with immediate effect although they will not formally become a
part of your contract with PayPal until 17 July 2025.
