Nach der abendlichen Eröffnungsfeier der Sehsüchte 2008
und deren Ankündigung auf den Frequenzen von Deutschlandradio Kultur
wird es heute im Thalia Kinosaal 3 ab 17 Uhr eine Diskussion um das Thema: "Digital Cinema: Total Control?" geben.
Das Thema ist auf der Internet-Seite des Sehsüchte-Programms wie folgt angekündigt:
There’s hardly any doubt that the future of cinema will be digital. An eloquent panel of filmmakers and distributors will examine the impact a completely digital workflow will have on filmmaking to computerized digital rating in theaters. Four panelists have been invited to an analog discussion that will take a look at the future of cinema today.
The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Claudia Wegener, Vice Chair of the Advisory Board of the “Kinder- und Jugendfilmzentrums in Deutschland” (KJF) and professor of Media Education at the Film and Television Academy Konrad Wolf.

Björn Koll
Managing partner of Edition Salzgeber, he brought digital cinema to Germany in 2004 with his pilot project CinemaNet Europe and delicatessen.
Inga von Staden
Founder of Projectscope, she is a copywriter and media industry consultant, the founder of the Interactive Media funding unit at the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and an Interactive Media instructor at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg.
Christian Rohde
He is a producer at Teamworx and a Production instructor (topics such as media convergence) at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg.
Ulrike Reber
A film manager, she was last Manager of Digital Producing at CinePost and is author of the book “Ökonomie des Digitalen Kino”.
Sonja Heiss,
A director, she made the film “Hotel Very Welcome” for Komplizenfilm.
Schade, dass sich dann auf der kleinen Bühne vor der Leinwand fast mehr Personen zusammengefunden als im Zuschauerraum eingefunden hatten. [1]
